After encouraging results were yielded in tests on mice, two new human trials were conducted on the benefits of 40Hz lights. Dr. Diane Chan at MIT studied patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease while Dr. Mihaly Hajos from Yale performed a study with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s patients. Both trials exemplified positive results: Dr. Chan’s study showed that Alzheimer’s-related brain degeneration slowed in the treatment group, while Dr. Hajos’ study demonstrated a 65% reduced rate of brain degeneration in the group that received therapy compared to the non-treatment group.
